Google Pay is, indeed, available in Italy. Google has also accepted the recently announced digital payment mechanism in Italy. Given that other industry titans like Samsung and Apple had previously opted for this service over a year ago, this was a very foreseeable move. As long as the store has joined up with Google Pay, Google Pay can be used to make purchases or settle payments both online and offline.
You can use Google Pay in any store that displays the Google Pay, contactless pay, or Tap and Pay symbols. Install the Google Pay Android app and register a credit card. When you’re ready to pay, unlock your phone and place it near the payment terminal. When the payment is complete, you will see a blue checkmark.
It is critical to recognize that Google Pay is designed primarily for ordinary transactions. There are precise limits set by your bank or card issuer. For instance, verified users have a maximum storage capacity of $25,000 in their Google Pay balance. Not only that, they can only transfer up to $5,000 to friends and family. Transactions conducted using the Google Pay balance are subject to restrictions, allowing a maximum of $2,000 per transaction and a cumulative total of $2,500 per day.
