Does Google Pay charge fees to send money? / Does Google Pay charge for money transfers?

03 Apr 2023 By PAYCEC

Peer-to-peer web payments were previously free to make with Google Pay (in the same style that PayPal currently does). But they changed this at the beginning of 2021 and began charging a fee for these kinds of transfers.

This means that in order to send or receive money from friends and family quickly, you must first download the appropriate app. You will then be charged $0.31, which is 1.5% of the total transaction (whichever is greater).

Even though Google Pay doesn't have exorbitant fees for money transfers and is a cheap way to pay in stores as long as you link a bank account or debit card, you might be looking for another choice.

Even if you don't want to use a mobile app to make payments, you'll probably find it useful to use one to store your debit card and make quick purchases. If so, take a look at PayCEC.
