McDonald’s accepts Google Pay, and it can be used to pay at the counter, in the drive-thru, and at the self-service kiosk machine. Google Pay is now available in the McDonald’s app.
Google Pay is simple to use at McDonald’s because it functions similarly to a credit or debit card transaction. All you have to do now is place your order at the restaurant and launch the Google Pay app on your device.
Furthermore, if you use the drive-thru, tell the cashier you’re using Google Pay, and they’ll hand you the contactless card reader so you can pay with your phone. If you’re inside McDonald’s, place your phone above the card reader and wait for the transaction to complete.
When the transaction is complete, your phone will make a ping sound, and the card reader will indicate that the transaction was approved.
Using Google Pay at McDonald’s is completely safe, especially since digital wallet payments involve multiple layers of security. Furthermore, to access your Google Pay or Samsung Pay account, you must enter a code or PIN, which is additional authentication you do not have with credit or debit cards.
Furthermore, if you dislike swiping cards because of the risk of credit card skimmers, utilizing Samsung Pay or Google Pay is a huge gain because you aren’t swiping anything! Furthermore, you are not presenting your card to a McDonald’s employee while using the contactless reader equipment, which improves the protection of your personal information.
