Yes, you can use your American Express card in Hungary. In Hungary, Visa and Mastercard are widely accepted. However, you can still find Diners Club-branded establishments that accept Amex.
In Hungary, American Express cards are not widely available. To be eligible, you must have good or excellent credit (a credit score of 690 or higher).
