It depends. If you want to enter the UK using an ID card from the EU, EEA, or Switzerland, you must first:
- Possess a family permit under the EU Settlement Scheme or its equivalent from Jersey, Guernsey, or the Isle of Man, or have established or pre-settled status under the settlement schemes of Jersey, Guernsey, or the Isle of Man.
- A Swiss person with an S2 healthcare visitor visa, a frontier worker permit, and a visa for a service provider from Switzerland.
- In these circumstances, you may continue to enter the UK using your national ID card until at least December 31, 2025.
