Yes, you can use an Amex card in Slovakia. All tourist attractions, hotels, and restaurants in this country also accept Credit/debit cards, Visa, MasterCard, or American Express.
How to make American Express in Slovenia?
Payments made to your American Express® Card must come from a bank account in your name to continue to protect your account and meet regulatory obligations. Here are some guidelines to follow when making payments to your Card Account:
- Personal cards: Payments must be made from a personal bank account in the name of the primary Cardmember. Payments for transactions completed by Supplementary Cardmembers are included.
- Small Business and Corporate Cards: Payments must be made from a personal bank account in the name of the primary Cardmember or a business account in the company's name.
- Name variance: payments can be made from joint accounts as long as the cardholder is named on them and is an authorized signatory.
- Name variance: If the name on the payment bank account differs from the name on the American Express card account, we may contact you for further information.
