What are Paypal fees in the UK?
The fee is waived if you send money using PayPal funds, PayPal Cash, or a bank account linked to PayPal. If you pay with a debit or credit card, or with PayPal Credit, you must pay a fee of 2.9% + a fixed fee, depending on the currency.
If you sell to customers in other countries and receive payment in a currency other than the default currency of your PayPal merchant account, you will be charged a currency conversion fee.
This fee is applied as a markup on the exchange rate, or, as PayPal refers to it, the "transaction rate," and it amounts to 2.5% of the transaction value.
For example, if the EUR/GBP base rate is 0.9036, the transaction rate will be 0.8810 (rate * 0.975).
