Apple Pay is working in Singapore. With over 440 million users worldwide, Apple Pay is one of the most widely used digital wallets in the world. It's no surprise that Apple Pay is gaining traction in Singapore, where digital and mobile payment adoption is high and growing. Apple Pay is now available to more than 80% of Singapore credit and debit cardholders. 

According to the most recent Singapore government data, e-payment accounts for approximately 30% of average household spending on food and drink. During the research period, 97% of households made some type of e-payment. ³

Apple Pay is popular not only for its convenience but also for the security features it offers. All payments use two-factor authentication (2FA), and your credit card information is never sent to merchants when you make a purchase. Instead, Apple Pay processes the charge using a device-specific code as well as a unique transaction code. If you have a bank account with one of the major providers in Singapore, you should be able to set up Apple Pay.
