• Countries that place limitations on digital currency: Although the trade of cryptocurrencies is not illegal in these countries, their governments have an overall negative attitude toward it.
• Countries that have outright prohibited the use of digital currencies: In these countries, any digital currency is not legal tender, and governments impose a ban on it to protect the national currency.
