Google Pay is available in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). In 2018, Google Pay was introduced in the UAE. Google Pay is now available in the UAE, allowing you to pay with your Android smartphone in stores that accept contactless payments.

All you have to do is securely register your card credentials from one of the partner banks, and you’ll be able to pay at an expanding number of shops around the UAE.

It all works with NFC (Near Field Communication) technology. Launch the Settings app and click Connected Devices to see if it’s installed on your Android smartphone. If you see NFC, it means you can pay with Google Pay.

To use Google Pay in the UAE, first set up a Google Pay account and link it to a bank account or credit card. You’ll also need a compatible device and the most recent version of the Google Pay app, both of which can be downloaded from the App Store or Google Play Store. After registering an account and associating a payment method, you can use Google Pay to make payments and send money to others.

Users must add their MasterCard or Visa cards from a top financial group in the UAE region to their app account to purchase at a store. Banks are doing everything they can to make their clients’ payment methods innovative, easy, and accessible as contactless digital payment grows increasingly widespread in the UAE.

To use Google Pay in the UAE, first, make Google Pay your default payment wallet on your device by following the steps below: Connections > NFC and payment > Tap and pay > G Pay.
