In Finland, Google Pay enables tap-to-pay purchases using Android devices such as phones, tablets, and digital watches. The technology behind this functionality is near field communication (NFC), which allows your Android device to securely transmit credit card information to a point-of-sale (POS) system, making transactions quick and hassle-free.

To use the Google Pay app, you’ll need to unlock your phone. Depending on your security settings, this might require entering a PIN or using biometrics like Face ID.
