No. Apple Card is available only in the U.S. Apple Card is issued by Goldman Sachs Bank USA, Salt Lake City Branch. Apple Card is intended to function in conjunction with any other credit or debit card stored in the Wallet app for use with Apple Pay. You can make it your default card and use it for in-store purchases on your iPhone as well as online purchases on your Apple Watch, iPhone, iPad, and Mac.
The cards most used in Switzerland are American Express, MasterCard, and Visa. Many Swiss banks have installed the CIRRUS or MAESTRO system in their ATMs. Many other Swiss banks have ATMs where you can get cash using your credit card. When arriving in Switzerland, it is recommended to have a small amount of cash on hand for immediate expenses such as taxis and city transportation.
Who Qualifies for the Apple Card?
To obtain an Apple Card, you must be at least 18 years old and a U.S. citizen or lawful U.S. resident with a U.S. residential address (no P.O. Box).
To use the Apple Card, you must have an iPhone running iOS 12.4 or later, and it will not be available if you do not have an iPhone. Two-factor authentication must be enabled, and you must be signed in to iCloud with your Apple ID on your iPhone.
