Overall Market: According to figures from the Commerce Department, e-commerce sales reached $257.62 billion in Q4, an increase of 9.2 percent from $235.96 billion during the same quarter last year.
That represents a deceleration from the same quarter in 2020's 31.9 percent year-over-year growth.

According to our forecasts, Amazon's US marketplace sales will increase by 16.5 percent to $220.39 billion in 2021, making up 60 percent of the company's overall US eCommerce sales.
